The Secret to shopping at CVS!

Before shopping at CVS with coupons, here are a few things you need to know about their coupon policy:
*CVS accepts newspaper, printable and other manufacturer coupons.
*CVS sales run Sunday to Saturday.
*CVS has purchase based coupons such as $2 off of a $10 purchase. These coupons expire very quickly, usually within 2 weeks.
*CVS has store coupons that print on the bottom of your receipt. These typically expire 4 weeks from their print date.
*Be sure to apply for a CVS Extra Care Card! CVS tracks your purchases and Extra Bucks through this card.
*CVS has weekly sales ads and also monthly Extra Bucks promotions. Extra Bucks are coupons worth a dollar amount off your next purchase (these are similar to catalinas!) These print off on the bottom of your receipt and expire 4 weeks after their print date.
Example of an ECB promotion: Spend $10 on participating soda brands, receive $5 ECB. You must spend $10 subtotal, before coupons!
*Extra Buck offers have limits per card.

**THE SECRET**
Stack manufacturer with store coupons on an Extra Buck promotion! Buy these in one transaction and add a purchase-based coupon such as $5 off $25 to save even more!

Example:
Olay Body Wash on sale $3.49
Use $1/1 Olay Body Wash Manufacturer coupon
Use $1 off any Olay Body Wash CVS coupon
Pay $1.49 and receive $1.49 ECB

If you had a $1 ECB from a previous transaction, it would offset your out-of-pocket expense. In this case, you could have used your ECB from a previous transaction and in turn could have paid only $0.49 out-of-pocket. You would still receive the $1.49 ECB, which turns this transaction into a money making transaction!
